My uncle has a camera and will video my wedding for no charge. Why should we hire a professional?

We cannot stress enough how much difference there is between a professionally produced video and a home video. Although your uncle probably has good intentions, unless he has the proper equipment (broadcast camera, microphones, non-linear editing computer, etc.), it will be impossible for him to capture the event with the quality as a professional.
